【自己紹介】
Hello there! My name is Iris. I am an English teacher with a TEFL certificate, which means I can teach English as a foreign language. I’ve been sharing my enthusiasm for English for quite some time. I used to be a private school teacher who handled an English subject. I have a varied experience in teaching, and I’ve worked with diverse learners for about two years. My background includes planning and delivering lessons to children and adults. Besides teaching, I’ve been a researcher for a year, I did data analysis, and transcription, you name it, I did a lot of work. Do I enjoy teaching? Without a doubt, yes! I enjoy helping others achieve their goals while growing as a person. I make sure that my students feel heard and understood in class. I teach in such a way that they are encouraged to speak without being afraid of making mistakes. I know that the teacher’s greatest gift to the learner is motivating them to think and then want to learn more, that’s why I prioritize the class objectives while keeping my students’ levels and preferences in mind.

【趣味】
I love feeding myself with new experiences and knowledge that’s why I love reading books and traveling. When I immerse myself in books, my brain seems to be enlightened by other perspectives. My favorite authors are Joanne Rowling, Jared Diamond, and Ernest Miller Hemingway. Likewise, I’ve been to places here in our country, the Philippines, where I met good people with good stories. I love my sister so much, we’re like twins that seem unseparated. She loves dressing up like a unicorn fairy. Also, I have a dog and a cat which I both love and are not fighting all the time. They are healthy, adorable, and joyful!
