【自己紹介】

Hello! My name is Hazel, and I am a Licensed Professional Teacher. I have been teaching young learners for many years. I am a certified Elementary Educator in the US Virgin Islands Department of Education. And I also taught there as a classroom teacher for six years handling first and fourth graders. Do I love teaching? Yes, I do love teaching! I am always excited to meet and teach students who are wanting to learn something new every day.

こんにちは！私の名前はヘーゼルで、教員免許を持つプロの教師です。私は長年にわたり、幼い子どもたちを教えてきました。私はアメリカ領ヴァージン諸島の教育局で初等教育者としての資格を取得しています。また、そこで6年間、1年生と4年生のクラス担任として教えていました。私は教えることが好きなのでしょうか？はい、教えることは大好きです！毎日新しいことを学ぼうとする生徒と出会い、教えることにいつも興奮しています。

【趣味】

I like to read science articles about the universe. I also love to listen to some podcasts. Two of my favorite podcasters are Dr. Mark Hyman and Neil de Grasse Tyson. I am currently learning how to use Sign Language. I love to do cross-stitching during my free time. I also learned how to play some basic guitar chords and songs during the lockdown.  I thought that I would never learn how to play the instrument before.

私は、宇宙に関する科学記事を読むのが好きです。また、ポッドキャストを聴くのも好きです。私の好きなポッドキャスターは、マーク・ハイマン博士とニール・ド・グラース・タイソンです。現在、手話の使い方を勉強中です。私は自由な時間にクロスステッチをするのも好きです。また、ロックダウンの間に、ギターの基本的なコードと曲の弾き方を学びました。 以前は、楽器の演奏方法を学ぶことはないと思っていました。
